A bit about Harmonics Community Choir

As the name suggests this choir is about singing but it’s also about the people we sing with. As well as regular rehearsals and occasional concerts we enjoy social activities ranging from a drink in the pub to garden parties with sumptuous food, quiz nights and theatre visits, restaurant outings etc. etc. opt in opt out the choice is yours.

What we ask of you is that you seriously enjoy singing and are able to sing in tune.

It is not necessary to read music as we have a range of CDs and web based aids to help you.

You should be prepared to spend some time doing this as once a week rehearsals are not really enough to reach the standard we hope to achieve and our ever growing repertoire will take some time to become familiar with.

We generally give concerts two or three times a year  including a Christmas carol concert.

How much will it cost me?

Our weekly fees are generally about

£3 this pays for our room hire, music copies, Directors fees etc.etc. the rest is up to us.
